KEYNA X JARRAD SENG
“At the very least, I hope to create beautiful imagery. But the work I am most proud of goes beyond this, hoping to reveal truths and convey stories.”
Jarrad is an Australian photographer who travels all around the world to capture spectacular moments. From tourism and concerts to nature and people. His mantra is “bad decisions make good stories” and he will not shy away from a risky adventure or getting out of his comfort zone if it means getting a good photo.
Through his imagery, he transports you to these incredible moments that almost seem unreal. He has an eye that captures life in the most beautiful way, which feels unreachable, but has the ability to do it and shares it, bringing joy to those who view it.
He is inspired by the culture around him such as music and design, but seeing people who are masters of their domain, whatever that may be, is special to him.
His limit is not finding the balance between dreaming and being pragmatic - sometimes he catches himself in one or the other. And to overcome that, he tries to discipline himself and take a leap of faith.
I asked Jarrad to be a part of this project as I have been a fan of his work for a long time and wanted to show him gratitude with a piece which he inspired me to create through his work.
The Keyna piece I made for Jarrad was created using the sand casting process. The textures and details of the piece are representative of the untouched nature he so beautifully captures.
The piece is made in 925 recycled Stirling silver.
