Isabelle Feliu is an illustrator and painter originally from Québec, now based in Oslo. She creates beautiful imaginative artwork that immediately transports you to her wonderful invented worlds when looking at them. Her use of colour, brushstrokes and lines make her pieces unique and so beautiful.

Isabelle describes herself as an introvert – she spends a lot of time thinking and feels most like herself when she’s illustrating. Inspiration comes to her from other artists, traveling, reading and observing the world around her. She feels her biggest limit is having an excess of choice, and to overcome that she narrows down the colours and themes in her work.

I chose to collaborate with Isabelle because I have been inspired by her work for years. Her ability to transport you into her images is amazing. I catch myself feeling like I’ve entered some sort of magical colourful dream, and that is powerful to me.

The Keyna piece I decided to make for Isabelle is representative of that feeling. I wanted to create something fun, light and simple. Something that reminds Isabelle of her creative talents and illustration style. The piece is made from recycled 925 sterling silver.
